pranks on other folk on April fools day?

continue to play tricks on friends and
family with not knowing the reasons and
purpose why they do. Even the daring
prankster will play a trick on a
stranger
April
fool’s Day, is not officially considered a
holiday, it is most definitely a notable day
that is celebrated in many countries on April
1. What makes this day special. Well it is a
time when you get away with joking and playing
tricks on people without fear of any come back,
however this will depend on the joke or trick
that you have set a victim up
for.
Playing hoaxes and
practical jokes of varied sophistication on
others comes to the fore on this day. The
aim of these jokes is to bring embarrassment
to the gullible
.
Superstitions have it
that the practical jokes are meant to be played
before twelve noon, and that those that are
performed afterwards will bring bad luck to the
executor. Remember that superstition is man
made so it is up to you what you want to
believe. This limitation is widely losing its
value as a superstition as it is believed to
have been conspired up by vexed parents and
school teachers who were wanting a respite from
the day of pranks, as well due to the fact that
many major hoaxes throughout history have
appeared after midday. Superstitions do not end
there the list is endless; another is that
anyone who fails to respond in the proper
spirit of tolerance and amusement to the jokes
played on them is also said to be liable to
suffer from bad luck. If you are a
superstitious person then this may not be good
because you will go to great lengths to make
sure this does not happen.
There
are many myths and superstitions relating to
April fools day, they say a man who weds on
this day is more likely to be ruled by his wife
in the future “take heed all you men
“.
The origin of
April fool’s day is not clearly known so
therefore no real true facts to tell however,
it is generally accepted to have come about as
a result to the changes in the calendar system.
The New Year celebrations used to begin on 25
March and last for a week, ending on 1 April.
In 1582, King Charles IX of France brought in
the new Gregorian calendar, in which the New
Year began on 1 January. Many people at this
time either ignored or were unaware of these
changes which then had them labelled as
so-called 'fool's errands' and tests of
gullibility.
