Babys First Birthday - So its baby`s first birthday party and you want to do something special.  Well why not, because you only get to be one years old once. First thing to do for baby`s first birthday party is to have a camera or better still a camcorder to catch every happy moment on video – so you can look back on this special day with fond memories. As children get older - it is easier to find ideas and games to please them and keep them in the party mood, but for a baby`s first birthday party it can be quite difficult to plan. A toddler who is celebrating his or her first birthday are sometimes not fully aware of the whole scenario, so it can be waste of time and money if you choose to entertain the birthday girl or boy with something they will not enjoy. Toddlers at their very own baby`s first birthday party are easily distracted. Young babies seem to notice more to what another child on the birthday guest list maybe doing or getting up to. So there you have it in a nutshell i.e. the more kiddies playing games and having fun will no doubt surely excite the host (baby) at his or her own baby`s first birthday party. However there are some babies that can be become quite frightened by to much activity i.e. noise and the playing of games like pin the tail on the donkey or musical chairs. If your child is of this nature then keep the

playmates invited to baby`s first birthday party to a minimum. Lots of colour in the room to where the party food is to be eaten is a good idea. Stick to jellies, ice cream, juice, and finger sandwiches and the party should go down well, just like the ice cream.

Always keep safety in mind where the children are going to play, never leave them un-supervised even when going to the toilet or playing in the garden where there may be and ornamental pond.

A baby`s first birthday party need not be expensive because there maybe a possibility that the little one year old may decide to have a nap while the party games play on. So really it all boils down to tasty little titbits and a room full of colour. Cartoon characters go down well to excite a toddler.
